This Gathering is a musical retreat for current members of the WFPA, hosted at Michael Johnathon’s 7 acre Log Cabin property. It will be a weekend focused on the music, encouragement, the community of SongFarmers and building our “front porch around the world.” Register to attend and just present your card at the welcome table when you arrive. It’s that simple! Bring your instruments, a lawn chair, a notepad, your voice and joyful spirit … this is a SongFarmer’s picking party!!

• Is there a space for SELF-CONTAINED RV or camping? Yes
• Are there hotels nearby? Yes
• Will there be song circles and Bluegrass jams? Yes
• Will there be workshops and conversations, exchanges of ideas and experiences to make our chapters grow stronger, more musical, and more community driven? Heck, yes.
• PLEASE bring a lawn chair, your instrument and your front porch spirit!
• LUNCH and DINNERS will be buffet style on site ($10 per plate suggested donation)
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
• All NEW WFPA/SongFarmer members (still just $25 a year) will get a FREE copy of the 176 page book/CD “WOODSONGS 4: A Fireplace Compendium
• TO ATTEND the 2026 Gathering, a) UPDATE your membership and then b) REGISTER. Once you do, address, directions, camping, hotel and other information will be sent to you. The area hotels, camping information, photos of grounds and updates are coming soon on our website, SongFarmers.org
